The only reason why I gave it 4 stars is my daughter complained about how to stop.there is no toe pick.it is smooth at the front.I don't know maybe this is for safely reasons so they don't face plant themselves trying to stop. I also tried to find an adjustable double skate so I would have the advantage of my kid getting more than one season out of it but that feature is not found in double blades only single blades.
