(More customer reviews)We purchased this product in hopes that our 10 and 9 year olds could begin tying their own skates.Well...it sort of works.The design is a bit awkward and difficult for small hands.It is metal and thin and therefore not very friendly to young, delicate hands.I would not recommend this product for smaller kids.Find something with a plastic handle or wait until they have the strength to tie the skates without such aids.
